NTELOS Deploys Catena's Broadband Loop Carrier

NTELOS, an integrated communications provider serving a five-state area in the mid-Atlantic region, is using Catena Networks’ CN1000 Broadband Loop Carrier (BLC) to deliver DSL to business and residential subscribers. NTELOS has deployed the CN1000 BLC in both central office and outside plant environments. Catena’s platform enables NTELOS to support advanced video-delivery services. The platform also allows NTELOS’ customers to transition from TDM to packet-based
features. Financial terms were not disclosed.
