ECOC24: Ciena Intros 1.6 Tb/s Coherent Pluggable

C iena launched a 1.6 Tbps Coherent-Lite pluggable for hyperscale cloud and data center providers.

The new offering leverages Ciena’s WaveLogic 6 Nano (WL6n) technology andi s designed for high-performance data center fabric and campus applications. A3nm coherent ASIC is used to deliver dual 800G data paths in a single DSP chip.
