DIRECTV Reaches 12 Millionth Customer Milestone

DIRECTV activated its 12 millionth customer this past weekend. The DIRECTV satellite service is now present in more than one of every nine TV households in the U.S. The DBS provider has added about one million net new customers in the last year.

So far, DIRECTV has activated about 500,000 DVR customers nationwide.
