IBM and Samsung Team on Silicon Development

IBM and Samsung agreed to collaborate on basic research into new semiconductor materials, manufacturing processes and other technologies suitable for a broad range of applications — from smart phone handsets to communications infrastructure. The companies are looking at new process technologies with potential for mobile communications and high-performance applications.
