iCable and Broadcom Develop Residential VoIP Adapter for Asian Markets

iCable System Co., a Korean manufacturer, has developed a residential VoIP multimedia terminal adapter (MTA) based on Broadcom’s VoIP CPE engine chip and xChange VoIP firmware. iCable’s ICS-G101 device is available in production quantities and is shipping to Hanaro Telecom in Korea and an incumbent service provider in Japan.
