RCN Launches SVOD and VOD Services

RCN launched HBO On Demand and Cinemax On Demand subscription video on demand (SVOD) products in its Washington, D.C. and Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania markets. Subscription Video On Demand (SVOD) allows customers to purchase an entire series of episodes for viewing at their convenience. RCN has also launched Video On Demand (VOD) service. After ordering the programming, customers can immediately view the program for an unlimited number of times during the 24-hour rental period.
