Sony Electronics has begun shipping a network-based IP monitoring package that combines four Sony network-ready cameras with a Sony Vaio desktop PC equipped with a Network Video Recorder and video management software. Up to 32 video cameras could be connected to the monitoring network. Wireless capabilities are also offered for the cameras. The PC comes with a 500 GB hard disk for the network video recorder. http://www.sony.com
