VoEx Selects Global Crossing for New VoIP Service Launch

VoEx, a start-up network integrator and VoIP services provider for large enterprises, selected Global Crossing as its preferred provider of wholesale voice, data and IP services. VoEx’s outsourced VoIP integration, network services are aimed at helping large enterprises to rapidly migrate towards a fully converged voice/data network without capital expenditure or changes to business processes or systems.

Global Crossing’s VoIP Service, introduced in September 2003, provides wholesale IP interconnection, transport and call completion of packet-based voice traffic over Global Crossing’s integrated IP and TDM platforms.

Global Crossing said its VoIP platform currently carries more than 2 billion minutes of packet-based voice traffic per month, and is expected to carry more than 4.5 billion minutes per month by the end of 2004. http://www.globalcrossing.comhttp://www.voex.com
