Skylo provides a Non-Terrestrial Network (NTN) service platform that enables smartphones, IoT devices, vehicles, and industrial equipment to communicate directly over existing geostationary (GEO) satellites using 3GPP standards. Rather than operating its own satellite constellation, Skylo partners with satellite operators and mobile network providers to extend cellular coverage into remote and underserved regions without requiring specialized satellite hardware.
