Verizon Communications and Array Digital Infrastructure announced a new multi-year strategic partnership that expands Verizon’s access to Array’s national tower portfolio to support ongoing 5G network deployments. The agreement gives Verizon the ability to collocate on a significant number of new Array sites over the next several years, strengthening network coverage and capacity across the U.S.
The companies said the deal introduces a streamlined pricing framework for new sites, aimed at improving cost efficiency and providing long-term stability as Verizon continues to scale advanced wireless technologies. Verizon framed the agreement as part of a broader tower management strategy designed to accelerate deployment while maintaining flexibility across its network portfolio.
Array operates approximately 4,400 towers nationwide and positions the partnership as a way to deepen its role as a shared infrastructure provider for U.S. wireless carriers. Telephone and Data Systems owns roughly 82% of Array as of September 30, 2025.

The agreement highlights how large U.S. mobile operators continue to rely on independent tower companies to accelerate 5G densification while managing capital intensity. For Verizon, the deal complements recent network investments focused on mid-band and capacity expansion, while for Array it reinforces its position as a scaled alternative to larger tower incumbents such as American Tower, Crown Castle, and SBA Communications.
