Verizon Wireless Selects G&D Smart Cards for LTE Launch
Verizon Wireless has selected Giesecke & Devrient (G&D) to provide special Java based SIM smart cards for its upcoming Long Term Evolution (LTE) mobile broadband network. The LTE supporting SIM cards will help Verizon Wireless provide data services to its subscriber base on its 4G LTE wireless broadband network. Financial terms were not disclosed.
