Vertiv Launches OneCore Prefabricated Platform for 50 MW AI Data Centers

Vertiv launched Vertiv OneCore, a prefabricated infrastructure platform designed to accelerate deployment of high-density, 5+ MW data centers for AI, HPC, and enterprise workloads. The global rollout delivers an end-to-end, factory-assembled solution that integrates power, cooling, and IT infrastructure into a single scalable system. By using prefabricated building blocks and centralized management, Vertiv aims to cut project complexity, shorten construction timelines, and support consistent cost and quality outcomes across global deployments.

The OneCore system provides a slab-up turnkey approach, including whitespace modules like Vertiv SmartRun inside a Vertiv-provided steel shell. Configurations can scale from 5 to 50 MW and support up to 944 racks at extreme densities. Integrated power and thermal systems include liquid cooling, advanced heat rejection, UPS, and busways, with concurrent maintainability to ensure uptime during maintenance cycles. The system operates across wide climate ranges and supports both medium and low-voltage power inputs, enabling flexibility for diverse markets.

Vertiv is positioning OneCore as a foundation for next-generation AI and HPC facilities that need both density and adaptability. The solution is backed by Vertiv’s global service organization, offering commissioning, proactive maintenance, and rapid response support. The company emphasizes that OneCore not only accelerates deployment but also contributes to sustainability strategies by reducing power and cooling overhead through efficiency-driven designs.

• Concurrent maintainability for uptime during upgrades

• Operates in -20°C to 55°C (-4°F to 131°F) environments

• Redundancy options for fluid and electrical networks

• Compatible with 11–35 kV MV and 400–480V 3-phase AC input

“Vertiv OneCore is our answer to the need for reducing complexity and enabling speed in building data center capacity at scale,” said Viktor Petik, senior vice president of infrastructure solutions at Vertiv. “This solution reduces project complexity by standardizing key components while preserving the flexibility to scale and evolve.”
