STACK Infrastructure announced plans for a $12 billion multi-campus data center development across Caddo and Bossier Parishes in northwest Louisiana, in collaboration with Amazon and regional public-sector partners. The Denver-based developer said the coordinated, multi-site investment will expand digital infrastructure capacity while driving long-term economic activity across the region.
The project spans campuses on both sides of the Red River and will support next-generation data centers designed for AI and cloud computing workloads. Construction is expected to generate more than 1,500 jobs, with the campuses projected to support more than 540 permanent, full-time roles once operational. Officials said the facilities will contribute millions of dollars to state and local tax bases and fund associated infrastructure upgrades, including water, wastewater, and electrical systems.
STACK said it will fund all infrastructure costs required to support operations, aligning development with available utility capacity and planned system enhancements. The company is working with Amazon, regional utilities including SWEPCO, and local leaders to coordinate execution and system upgrades intended to enhance reliability and protect long-term rate stability. The campuses will also incorporate water-positive programs consistent with STACK’s responsible development principles.
