Verizon Business Adds Ericsson Private 5G for Global Enterprise Networks

Ericsson Private 5G platform is now available for Verizon Business private wireless deployments outside the United States, enabling multinational enterprises to extend private 5G networks across international campuses. The move expands Verizon Business’s private wireless portfolio and provides a consistent networking architecture for organizations operating across multiple countries.

The expanded partnership targets enterprises seeking secure, low-latency connectivity to support AI-driven applications, industrial automation, digital twins, robotics, and advanced analytics. Ericsson said its Private 5G solution supports both 4G LTE and 5G operation, offers global spectrum compatibility, and can be deployed across indoor and outdoor environments. Existing Verizon Business customers using Ericsson-powered private 5G networks in the U.S. can now extend those deployments internationally using the same technology platform.

The companies positioned the expansion as a response to growing enterprise demand for private wireless infrastructure capable of supporting AI workloads, industrial IoT, campus-wide mobility, and data sovereignty requirements. Target sectors include manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, utilities, and higher education, where organizations increasingly seek dedicated wireless infrastructure separate from public mobile networks.

• Ericsson Private 5G now supports Verizon Business private wireless deployments outside the U.S.

• Supports dual-mode 4G LTE and 5G operation.

• Designed for low-latency, high-reliability enterprise applications.

• Enables local data processing and traffic isolation for security and compliance requirements.
