Saks Fifth Avenue has now launched AT&T Wi-Fi at all 44 of its department stores across the U.S.. AT&T customers with select Wi-Fi enabled devices will auto-authenticate to the in-store Wi-Fi service.
The companies note that Saks shoppers average more than 19,000 connections per day to the in-store Wi-Fi network. A traffic spike is expected during the holiday shopping season.
AT&T now has more than 30,000 Wi-Fi Hot Spots at popular restaurants, hotels, bookstores and retailers.
