NetCracker Technology will acquire Subex Ltd.’s activation and provisioning business for an undisclosed sum. The deal includes the Subex NetProvision, NetOptimizer, and Vector products, what was previously the Syndesis business covering the provisioning and activation domains.

NetCracker, which is a unit of NEC that specializes in telecom management systems, said the acquisition strengthens its Telecom Operations and Management Solutions suite and its Order-to-Activate capabilities.

“Service providers are looking for strategic partners who can deliver the complete, end-to-end fulfillment stack,” said Andrew Feinberg, President and CEO of NetCracker Technology. “With a number of shared customers, proven technology, a near perfect product fit, and a talented team of industry experts, we expect this acquisition to fit seamlessly within our offerings and expand our ability to meet customer requirements.” http://www.NetCracker.com
