Indonesia's ICON+ Deploys NSN's Optical Transport

PT Indonesia Comnets Plus (ICON+), a subsidiary of the National Electricity Company, is expanding its backbone network to Sumatra using hiT 7300 DWDM optical transport platform. Nokia Siemens Networks’ managed services business is implementing and managing the network. The DWDM roll-out undertaken by Nokia Siemens Networks started in January 2010 and is expected to be completed in April 2010, covering most of Sumatra.
