KPN Selects RADCOM for Monitoring IMS Network

June 10, 2008
in Uncategorized
A A

that KPN, the Netherlands’ major telecom operator, has selected RADCOM’s Omni-Q solution for end-to-end monitoring of its IMS network. Specifically, KPN will deploy the distributed system, based on RADCOM’s new R70 probes, to facilitate fault management, service performance analysis, troubleshooting and pre-mediation.

Omni-Q offers the ability to correlate network-wide sessions involving TDM, VoIP and IMS protocols in a multi-vendor environment. KPN’s new IMS platform is expected to replace the existing SS7 technology over the next few years.

KPN’s selection of RADCOM comes in the wake of a successful Omni-Q deployment to monitor its extensive residential VoIP network, which has handled more than a million subscribers to date. http://www.radcom.com
