Com Hem, which provides TV, 
broadband and telephony services to around 40 percent of all Swedish homes, has activated a commercial IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) platform in its network. Com Hem’s IMS solution, including the IMS Core and SURPASS hiQ 8000 voice platform, has been provided and integrated by Nokia Siemens Networks. Com Hem is using IMS initially to provide VoIP. Financial terms were not disclosed.
