in Uncategorized
A A

Cisco announced the first of a new RF Gateway (RFGW) series of Universal Edge QAM (U-EQAM) products for cable video on demand (VOD), switched digital video (SDV) and high-speed data (HSD) services.

The Cisco RF Gateway Series products are fully integrated and tested as part of the Scientific Atlanta Digital Broadband Delivery System (DBDS) and the Cisco Modular CMTS (M-CMTS) solution.

The Cisco RF Gateway 1, the first product offering from the Cisco RF Gateway Series, delivers up to 48 D-RFI-compliant QAM channels in a compact 1RU chassis with redundancy options to expand system availability. Frequency agile up to 1 GHz, the modular design supports eight QAM channels per field-replaceable RF module, with four QAM channels per RF output port.
