Etex Telephone Cooperative, Inc., among the largest independent local exchange carriers (ILECs) in Texas, has purchased multiple products of Occam’s Broadband Loop Carrier system to provide its customers with advanced services, such as Triple Play. Specificallym Etex is deploying Occam’s BLC 6252, 6440 and 6312 blades inside Occam’s BLC 6012 chassis. The 6252-02 ADSL2Plus Blade provides 48 ports of ADSL2Plus with Lifeline POTS on the same physical interface to deliver voice, data and video services.
