KPN has selected World Wide Packets’ Ethernet customer premise equipment (CPE) to support the rollout of Ethernet-based services to KPN’s enterprise customers in The Netherlands.
World Wide Packets has entered into a reseller agreement with Lucent Technologies, which will supply the equipment, along with software and services, to KPN. Financial terms were not disclosed.
World Wide Packets’ “LightningEdge” family of products provide premises-based connectivity for optical fiber-based point-to-point Ethernet networks.
