Nigeria’s Horizon Wireless is launching a 3.5 GHz Wireless Broadband network using equipment from Navini Networks. The deployment uses Navini’s Ripwave system to offer users multi-megabit network speeds, a zero-install plug-n-play modem, and broadband access anywhere in the coverage area. The network serves Kano City, which has an estimated population of 5 million.
