TI Offers Power-over-Ethernet Modules and Controller

Texas Instruments introduced a new integrated circuit (IC) controller and a Power-over-Ethernet plug-in power module for Ethernet-powered industrial and commercial devices such as WLAN access points, IP phones, security and point- of-sale systems. TI’s new Bi-CMOS controller can be used to effectively manage discovery, classification and delivery of direct-current (DC) power to a powered device. http://www.ti.com
