Qualcomm Announces Single-Chip CDMA2000 1X Solution

QUALCOMM announced two industry design milestones: a single-chip solution for CDMA2000 1X, which integrates a baseband modem, radio transceiver, power management and multimedia engines; and the first CDMA2000 1X radio transceiver — a component of this single-chip — a radioOne solution that combines radio receiver and transmitter functionalities into a single design using RF CMOS process technology. The innovations will bring basic data and multimedia capabilities to entry-level wireless handsets.
