  • Earlier this month, Nortel Networks announced that Grupo Iusacell had migrated its circuit switches to a packet infrastructure using the Nortel Networks Succession Communication Server (CS) 2000 Superclass softswitch. Iusacell has also deployed Nortel Networks Passport 15000 and Passport Packet Voice Gateways in Mexico’s main cities as the basis for its new IP-based core data infrastructure.
