China Unicom Awards $98M CDMA Expansion Project to Lucent

Guangdong Unicom awarded a US$98.5 million contract to Lucent Technologies for the phase III expansion of its CDMA network. Under the contract, Lucent will supply its CDMA2000 solutions and will provide services support. The new network is expected to improve the capacity and coverage in eight cities in Guangdong Province. http://www.lucent.com.cn
