TiVo will offer a $50 rebate to cut the entry price point for its 40-hour digital video recorder (DVR) to $199. An 80 hour TiVo DVR is priced at $299. The monthly TiVo subscription fee is $12.95. The company now claims a subscription base over 793,000.
