NaaS for MultiCloud Connections

October 10, 2023

A A

The race is on to deliver fully automated connectivity services between offices, data centers, and public clouds. Divesh Gupta, VP of New Technology & Sales Operations from PCCW, explains:

– The development and capabilities of NaaS, including Layer 2 Ethernet and Layer 3 routed connectivity between data centers, cloud hyperscalers, and application providers.
– The introduction of Edgeport, a product that provides automated connections between a Data Center and Enterprise building using LSO Sonata APIs. This includes real-time information on connectivity options, pricing, and lead times.
– A use case of interconnecting with a partner network to orchestrate fully automated, on-demand connectivity from point A to point B, resulting in significant cost savings on EIS charges provided by hyperscalers.
