Alcatel-Lucent introduced a managed Mobile Interactive TV service in the Asian Pacific Region. Specifically, Alcatel-Lucent will deploy, host and operate the end-to-end mobile TV solution on behalf of other network operators. The service also offers content providers an open environment for content aggregation to create compelling “interactive made-for-mobile channels”. The company said its offering enables network operators to introduce mobile TV service quickly, cost-effectively and at low risk.
