ARIA Intros Ulta-Wideband Radar Chip

ARIA Sensing has announced the launch of an Ultra-Wideband (UWB) Radar System-On-Chip (SoC) that offers 3D beamforming capabilities and programmable bandwidth up to 1.8 GHz. The chip integrates advanced waveforms supporting both single-pulse and pulse-compression functionalities, enabling precise radar sensing applications. Equipped with two RISC-V microprocessors, the “Hydrogen” SoC delivers flexible performance suitable for various applications, including automotive, industrial automation, and smart home technologies.

ARIA Sensing, based in Rezzato, Italy, specializes in advanced radar technology and aims to deliver innovative sensing solutions for global industries. Founded in 2020, the company has raised €25 million in funding from key investors such as TechStars Ventures and Innovatec Partners. ARIA offers modular radar systems, including “Hydrogen,” to meet the demands of 2D and 3D sensing applications across diverse markets. Its solutions emphasize adaptability and integration to address the evolving needs of industries worldwide.
