Optus announced today that it is now an authorized reseller of Starlink’s high-speed, low-latency satellite internet for Australian enterprise and small business customers. Branded as “Satellite Internet for Business,” this new offering promises fast, uncapped, and reliable Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite broadband connectivity. The service is available nationwide, provided businesses have a clear view of the sky and access to a Starlink Business Kit.
The service includes a comprehensive package that handles installation, billing, and support through Optus, with prioritized help-desk services from Starlink. Customers will benefit from a high-gain antenna, which provides additional throughput and better performance during extreme weather events. Optus’ new solution is aimed at both urban and remote areas, offering enhanced connectivity for small to medium businesses in regional Australia.
Ben Vella, Vice President of Enterprise and Mid-Market at Optus, said, “This is a great example of Optus connecting more Australians and providing options to our enterprise and business customers across Australia. We know that small and medium-sized businesses are the backbone of the Australian economy and at Optus we are committed to ensuring they are supported in our digital world.”
