CommScope has introduced the Propel XFrame solution, a new floor-mounted fiber frame designed to address the growing requirements of data centers and high-performance computing environments. As part of CommScope’s Propel portfolio, the XFrame provides data centers with a modular, easily adaptable design that supports high-density fiber deployments driven by artificial intelligence (AI), cloud, and other bandwidth-intensive applications.
The Propel XFrame solution features a low-profile design to optimize available data center space and simplify network management. It supports multiple configurations, including wall-mounted, back-to-back, or freestanding deployments, enabling flexible and efficient installation. With its front-facing access to all fiber connections, the XFrame can easily accommodate network expansion, allowing administrators to quickly manage, move, add, or change connections without disruption.
CommScope designed the XFrame solution specifically to address common operational challenges, such as cable congestion and accessibility for moves, additions, and changes. The modular design incorporates single-length patch cords and preterminated breakout assemblies, streamlining fiber connectivity and significantly reducing installation and maintenance labor. Propel XFrame will be available globally at the end of the second quarter of 2025.
