Juniper Networks (NYSE: JNPR) introduced the EX4000 Series, a new line of campus and branch Ethernet switches designed for AI-driven network automation, security, and scalability. The switches leverage Mist AI for zero-touch provisioning (ZTP), self-driving operations, and proactive troubleshooting while providing seamless migration to Wi-Fi 7. Available in multiple form factors, including fanless models, the EX4000 Series offers enterprise-grade performance with cost-effective scalability.

The EX4000 Series integrates Zero Trust security, ensuring continuous device authentication and access validation across wired networks. It supports multi-gigabit Ethernet, 802.3bt PoE++ (up to 60W per port), and Juniper’s Virtual Chassis technology, allowing flexible deployments in high-density environments. With features like perpetual PoE, rapid boot times, and dynamic packet capture (dPCAP), the new switches enhance network reliability and reduce operational costs by minimizing truck rolls and manual troubleshooting.

Juniper’s AI-Native Networking Platform enables EX4000 users to streamline IT operations while meeting sustainability goals. The switches feature energy-efficient fan speed adjustments and automated PoE deactivation when ports are idle. When paired with Juniper’s AP47 access points, enterprises can maximize Wi-Fi 7 performance, ensuring high-bandwidth and low-latency connectivity for AI-driven applications, IoT, and hybrid work environments.

• AI-driven automation via Mist AI for proactive troubleshooting and self-healing networks

• Zero Trust security with automated access control and policy enforcement

• 12-, 24-, and 48-port multigigabit configurations with 10G uplinks

• Virtual Chassis technology for cost-effective network expansion

• Perpetual PoE and rapid boot times for uninterrupted operations

• Energy-efficient design with intelligent power management

“The EX4000 line is more than just a switch—it’s a cornerstone for organizations navigating digital transformation in the next era of AI-Native Networking,” said Sanjoy Dey, Vice President, Product Management, Campus and Branch at Juniper Networks. “With its agility, resiliency, and security, these switches simplify network operations and enhance user experiences through AI- and cloud-native solutions.”
