Keysight Technologies has unveiled its LPDDR6 design and test solution, tailored to meet the growing demand for high-performance memory systems in mobile, AI, and client computing applications. Announced ahead of DesignCon 2025, the solution supports JEDEC’s ongoing LPDDR6 standardization efforts and provides advanced tools for performance analysis, power efficiency, and reliability testing. The suite integrates hardware such as the UXR0334B 33 GHz real-time oscilloscope and M8040A Bit Error Ratio Tester (BERT) alongside advanced software solutions for comprehensive workflow coverage.

This solution addresses the increasing complexity of next-generation memory devices like LPDDR6, HBM4, and GDDR7, which require precise validation to meet reliability and performance standards. Keysight’s offering enables rapid testing and debugging, featuring automated compliance testing, noise compensation technology for signal integrity, and de-embedding capabilities for direct measurements. Its receiver and transmitter test applications facilitate BER analysis, jitter characterization, and interoperability validation for seamless integration with host controllers.

The LPDDR6 standard brings significant improvements in speed and power efficiency, making it ideal for AI, machine learning, automotive systems, and data centers. Keysight’s solution ensures faster design validation and shorter time-to-market, helping manufacturers address the balance between processing power and energy consumption. The new LPDDR6 tools will debut at DesignCon 2025, Jan. 29–30, in Santa Clara, California.

• Supports JEDEC’s LPDDR6 standard for mobile, AI, and edge computing.

• Hardware includes UXR0334B 33 GHz oscilloscope and M8040A BERT.

• Features automated compliance testing, noise compensation, and BER analysis.

• Ideal for high-speed, energy-efficient applications in automotive and data centers.

• Public demonstration scheduled at DesignCon 2025, booth 1039.

“This new LPDDR6 standard is set to revolutionize the market, offering unprecedented speed, efficiency, and reliability, enabling the industry’s AI Edge rollout,” said Dr. Joachim Peerlings, Vice President and General Manager, Network and Datacenter Solutions, Keysight.
