Mindspeed Completes Spinoff as Independent Public Company

Shares in Mindspeed Technologies began trading on the American Stock Exchange under the symbol “MND.” The company develops semiconductors for enterprise, access, metropolitan and wide area networks. The company’s three key product families include multiservice access solutions designed to support voice and data services across wireline and wireless networks, T/E carrier physical-layer and link-layer products, and ATM/MPLS network processors. Mindspeed employs more than 650 people and is based in Newport Beach, California.
