The acquisition aims to boost Molex’s presence in the $5 billion aerospace and defense interconnect market by combining the companies’ specialized portfolios and expertise.
With over 60 years of experience, AirBorn brings a reputation for durable components that operate under extreme conditions, vital for mission success in challenging environments. Molex plans to integrate AirBorn as the foundation of its aerospace and defense division, benefiting from AirBorn’s industry knowledge and Molex’s global reach and manufacturing scale. The deal is set to close by early December 2024, pending regulatory approvals.
