Nebius Group N.V. announced a $700 million strategic equity financing round led by Accel, NVIDIA, and Orbis Investments. This funding will accelerate the company’s AI infrastructure expansion across key markets, including the United States. Nebius plans to deploy large-scale GPU clusters, cloud platforms, and AI developer tools as part of its build-out strategy. The company aims to achieve annualized run-rate revenue (ARR) of $750 million to $1 billion by the end of 2025.

The Amsterdam-based firm focuses on developing AI-specific infrastructure, including custom-designed GPU clouds and data centers. Its services support the full machine learning lifecycle, from data processing to inference, with tools like the recently launched Nebius AI Studio. The $700 million financing involves issuing 33.3 million Class A shares at $21 each, a slight premium to the average market price. The deal, managed by Goldman Sachs, remains subject to customary closing conditions.

Nebius confirmed it will not repurchase Class A shares as previously authorized, citing robust investor engagement since its Nasdaq trading resumed in October 2024. Arkady Volozh, founder and CEO, expressed gratitude to investors, emphasizing the company’s readiness to scale operations. Board observer rights have been granted to Matt Weigand of Accel, with a potential director nomination set for 2025.
