Nokia has expanded its Corteca Cloud platform to support 415 legacy TR-069-based broadband devices from over 30 manufacturers. By integrating both the TR-069 and new TR-369 protocols, Nokia provides Communication Service Providers (CSPs) with a unified management solution that simplifies in-home Wi-Fi connectivity and device oversight.
For two decades, TR-069 has been the industry standard for managing over 1 billion broadband devices, enabling remote provisioning and troubleshooting. While TR-369 introduces enhanced capabilities, transitioning to the new standard will take time. Nokia’s Corteca Cloud allows CSPs to manage both legacy and next-generation devices, ensuring a seamless evolution without disruption.
Key benefits of Nokia’s Corteca Cloud:
- Smooth Transition – Supports both TR-069 and TR-369 protocols, allowing CSPs to migrate at their own pace.
- Scalability & Efficiency – Manages third-party hardware and multiple customer devices through a single platform.
- Remote Operations – Enables configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrades remotely, minimizing on-site interventions.
- Cost Reduction – Automates Wi-Fi monitoring to proactively resolve issues, reducing customer support calls.
“Service providers need a practical path to the future, not a forced transition. By supporting both TR-069 and TR-369, Nokia Corteca Cloud gives operators the flexibility to manage today’s networks while preparing for what’s next—without disruption,” said Justin Doucette, Head of WiFi and Software, Fixed Networks at Nokia.
