PEER 1 Upgrades Data Centers with Juniper

A A

Vancouver-based PEER 1 Hosting has selected Juniper’s ‘3-2-1’ architecture for an upgrade of its data centers and core network infrastructure. The deployment will enable PEER 1 Hosting to meet its guarantee of 100 percent network availability and ultra-low latency to its customers worldwide for all services, including their flagship Cloud Hosting Services.

PEER 1 now operates seventeen data centers worldwide. The company is deploying Juniper’s MX960 3D Universal Edge Routers, EX8200 Ethernet Switches and EX4200 Ethernet Switches with virtual chassis fabric technology, eliminating the need for network switch aggregation and reducing latency by up to 77 percent compared with legacy architectures. PEER 1 Hosting is also leveraging the Juniper Networks SSG Series Secure Services Gateways to enhance the security of its network as well as Junos script automation to streamline network configuration and operations.
