#Private5G: Three Things Private Wireless Needs to Succeed

A A

Private 5G hasn’t taken off as expected but that’s because it still lacks three essential features. Amar Kapadia, CEO of Aarna Networks, breaks it down for us:

– Manageability: Private 5G networks need to be as easy to manage as Wi-Fi networks. Any complexity could deter enterprises from adopting the technology.
– Cost: The cost of private 5G networks needs to be competitive. If they are significantly more expensive than Wi-Fi, it raises the question of why use these networks at all.
– Purpose: Private 5G needs a clear purpose. It can’t just solve the data network connectivity problem that Wi-Fi already solves. It needs to be viewed as a network that connects Edge Computing applications to end devices.

Aarna Networks is a software and SaaS company that provides orchestration and management solutions for private 5G, supporting these three key areas. Try their open-source software for free and see how it can help your business leverage the power of private 5G.
