Redback Expects Lower Q2 Numbers

Redback Networks now expects revenue for Q2 (ended 30-June-2003) to be approximately $22.0 million, compared to $29.5 million in Q1. Redback cited extended and delayed testing cycles, and slower than anticipated implementations of new service delivery platforms for the decline. It also highlighted the much publicized bans and restrictions on travel to the Asia Pacific region as having a negative impact of its revenues. Final results are expected 16-July-2003.
