Redline Communications announced an 802.16-2004-compliant version of its broadband wireless platform. Redline’s AN-100U universal platform functions as a base station and subscriber station.
Redline is a principal member of the WiMAX Forum and has played an active role in the technical development of IEEE 802.16 standards. The company is now actively participating in the development of the 802.16e standard for mobile applications.
