Fueled by wireless consumer electronics applications, SiGe Semiconductor has shipped in excess of ten million integrated circuits (ICs) based on silicon germanium technology. The privately-held company said sales revenue for 2003 increased by about 150% over the previous year. About 70% of its business is attributed to wireless power amplifiers used in Wi-Fi and Bluetooth products.
