Verizon Wireless has selected Rohde & Schwarz as a provider of testing solutions for the certification of devices that will operate on its forthcoming LTE network. Specifically, Rohde & Schwarz will provide system simulators, channel simulators and software for automation. This is the first time that companies have worked together for device testing platforms.

Verizon Wireless previously announced it is working with Spirent Communications as a provider of testing equipment solutions for wireless devices that will operate on its 4G LTE wireless network.
