WSJ: HPE nears deal to acquire Juniper for $13B

The Wall Street Journal reported on Monday afternoon that Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is nearing a deal to acquire Juniper Networks in a deal valued at approximately $13 billion.

Neither company has commented publicly on the article as of Monday evening.

As of last Friday, the market capitalization of Juniper Networks was approximately $9.6 billion, so the offer would represent a 35% premium.
