ZTE Cites Performance Benchmarks in LTE Equipment

ZTE reported key performance metrics for its LTE Core Evolved Packet Core (EPC) gear.

ZXUN uMAC, ZTE’s Mobility Management Entity (MME) achieved the maximum capacity test of 15 million users.

ZXUN xGW, ZTE’s SAE-GW, attained 174 Gbps in throughput performance, which exceeds the previous benchmark by 50%. The xGW record was recorded by IXIA during a recent LTE Core EPC heavy traffic performance demonstration performed with a top tier global operator.http://www.zte.com.cn
