Verizon Adds Inseego’s Enterprise-Class MiFi PRO M4 5G Hotspot

Inseego has expanded availability of its MiFi PRO M4 mobile hotspot to Verizon, bringing its latest enterprise-class portable connectivity platform to customers using Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband network in supported markets. The launch extends Inseego’s long-standing partnership with Verizon and targets enterprises that require secure, high-performance mobile broadband for distributed workforces, public safety, education, field operations, and temporary sites.

The MiFi PRO M4 combines Qualcomm’s Dragonwing MBB Gen 3 platform with standalone (SA) 5G and Wi-Fi 7, supporting up to 50 connected devices. Inseego positions the device as delivering router-class capabilities in a portable form factor, with support for bandwidth-intensive applications including HD video conferencing, cloud applications, large file transfers, and real-time collaboration. The device also supports advanced 5G capabilities such as standalone architecture, advanced uplink features, and future-ready support for network slicing.

Security and enterprise networking capabilities are central to the platform. MiFi PRO M4 includes WPA3 encryption, NAT firewalling, FIPS 140-3 support, integrated Ethernet connectivity, external antenna options, and VPN passthrough. The device is available immediately through Verizon’s consumer and business sales channels.

The launch reflects a broader trend toward treating wireless WAN connectivity as an integral part of enterprise networking rather than simply a backup connection. As organizations adopt hybrid work, AI-enabled applications, and increasingly distributed operations, portable 5G platforms are evolving to deliver capabilities traditionally associated with fixed branch routers, including stronger security, Ethernet connectivity, and advanced network management.

For Inseego, the Verizon availability builds on several recent strategic developments, including its planned acquisition of Nokia’s Fixed Wireless Access business and expanded international operations announced earlier this year. Together, these initiatives broaden the company’s enterprise connectivity portfolio across both fixed and mobile wireless access.
