Adtran named Anne DelSanto as an independent member of its Board of Directors, effective July 1, 2026, adding an executive with more than three decades of experience spanning cloud computing, SaaS, artificial intelligence and enterprise software. The appointment reflects Adtran’s strategic expansion beyond its traditional communications service provider business into cloud infrastructure, AI-driven networking and enterprise software markets.
DelSanto previously held executive operational and technical leadership positions at Salesforce, Oracle and IBM. She also brings extensive public company governance experience, currently serving on the boards of Advanced Energy, which supplies precision power technologies for hyperscale AI and semiconductor infrastructure, as well as private technology companies Axonius and StackAdapt. She previously served on the boards of Juniper Networks and New Relic during their years as publicly traded companies.
The appointment comes as Adtran continues to broaden its portfolio across fiber broadband access, optical transport, enterprise networking, network virtualization and software-defined network management. Following its acquisition of ADVA Optical Networking, Adtran has strengthened its position in optical networking and now serves communications service providers, cloud providers, enterprises and government organizations with networking technologies extending from the cloud edge to subscriber access networks.
