Nile appointed Frank Wiacek as Chief Revenue Officer, placing him in charge of global sales, partnerships, and go-to-market execution as the company expands its secure Network-as-a-Service (NaaS) offering.
Wiacek brings more than two decades of experience in enterprise infrastructure and services businesses, including leadership roles at EMC, Dell, Red8, 2NDGEAR, and Insight Investments. At EMC, he helped scale the commercial division from under $80 million to multi-billion-dollar revenue and led the EMC–Dell alliance, which grew into a $2 billion annual business. At Red8, he shifted the company toward a services-led model, increasing consulting revenue tenfold and launching an infrastructure-as-a-service offering that generated 25% of annual recurring revenue.
As CRO, Wiacek will focus on expanding Nile’s global footprint and strengthening strategic partnerships under CEO and co-founder Pankaj Patel.
- Wiacek to lead global sales and partnerships
- Former EMC executive; led $2B EMC–Dell alliance
- Drove services-led growth at Red8, including 10x consulting revenue increase
- Tasked with scaling Nile’s secure, autonomous NaaS globally
“What attracted me to Nile is the opportunity to help redefine how enterprise networking is bought, delivered, and operated,” said Frank Wiacek, Chief Revenue Officer at Nile.
🌐 Analysis: Nile continues to add senior executives as enterprises evaluate subscription-based networking models that bundle infrastructure and operations into a managed service. The NaaS segment faces competition from established networking vendors and cloud-managed providers expanding into campus and branch environments.
